Fire Permits are not issued by the Jackson Fire Department, they are issued through the Division of Forest and Lands and a Jackson Fire Warden.
In order to obtain a permit to burn, you must apply with Jon Edgerly at the Bartlett-Jackson Transfer Station Friday-Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. 603-383-9129 or 603-986-0165.
On Thursday’s, Fire Inspector Goudreau is also available from 8:30-4:30 at the Fire Station.

Plan ahead, permits cannot always be issued automatically. Inspections can be required.
