SECTION 17: EFFECTIVE DATE, CONFLICT AND SEVERABILITY
17.1 These provisions shall take effect upon their passage.
17.2 Where any provision of this Ordinance is in conflict with state law or any other local ordinances, the more stringent provision shall apply. (amended 3/8/2005)
17.3 If any provision of this ordinance is for any reason declared by the courts to be unconstitutional or invalid, such declaration shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof other than the specific provision so declared to be unconstitutional or invalid.
