Sorting and washing the frame
When the Trickey Barn was dismanteled, the frame was stored in three trailers on the Gray's Inn property. The first step in erecting the frame is to take the frame out, sort it, examine it for repairs and clean it. The pictrues below follow these steps.
In addition, several new timbers will be needed. In four cases, these replace drive posts that have deteriorated too much to reuse. In other cases, the new timbers are needed to bring the barn up to current code requirements.
