Conservation Commission Minutes
November 12, 2009
Present were Phil Davies, Pam Smillie, Brian Byrne, and Larry Siebert.
Phil presented the new Master Plan for the Grey’s Inn property prepared by the Town Engineer Burr Philips. Though it met with a less than luke-warm response the consensus was that the plan at least contained all of the elements for further recreational and municipal growth opportunities the property may have to offer.
Phil reported on the work that Rick Davis had done for us again this year and as usual it was quite satisfactory. We spoke of a need to make sure that this brush cutting will be done easily, inexpensively and annually for the future generations to come.
There were no pressing issues to vote on and after some extensive discussions on the future of the Grey’s Inn property and the commission’s role in its future development and preservation we adjourned early.
