Present at the June 21 meeting were, Phil Davies, Dick Bennett, Dan Dinsmore and Mary Howe
1. Minutes for May 15 were approved.
2. Prospect Farm: Don Johnson's proposal was discussed. Dan Dinsmore raised concerns about working on the road above the orchard. Dick Bennett agreed to talk with Don Johnson and resolve these issues. Phil asked if the members wanted to ask the selectmen to proceed with part of the plan, i.e. orchard, views 1 and 3 and the cellar holes. This was turned down in favor of recommending to the selectmen that we proceed with the entire plan for a total cost of $l4,375. The commission agreed. Work would not begin until Don Johnson had talked with Dick Bennett and Thom Perkins about the road repairs and resolvedd any outstanding issues.
3. The Historic signs have been installed along the Wildcat River.
4. We are still planning to plant a bush or two, two benches and picnic tables, and also a sign pointing toward the public way along the lower falls, which would cost $225.
5. Jay Henry has not yet respondd regarding the dam removal.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Mary Howe
