NOTICE TO ALL DOG OWNERS - DOG CONTROL REGULATIONS SUMMONS
I. Owners are hereby notified and required to abate the nuisance caused by their dog because of its violations of the following section (s) of RSA 466:30a - 31:
(A) It barks continuously for sustained periods of time ($10)
(B) It barks during the night so as to disturb the peace and quiet of a neighborhood area ($25)
(C) While it runs at large on the streets or public property of other than its owner it turns over garbage cans, waste containers or otherwise causes waste or garbage to be scattered on property other than its owner's ($25)
(D) While it runs at large it barks at, runs after or chases bicycles, motor vehicles, motorcycles, or other vehicles being driven, pulled or pushed on the streets, highways or other public ways ($25)
(E) While it runs at large, it barks, growls, and snaps or bites or runs after or chases any persons or person ($25)
(F) While it runs at large, whether alone or in a pack with other dogs it runs after chases or preys on game animals, domestic animals, fowls or human beings ($100)
(G) While it runs at large, it digs, scratches, excretes on any property other than its owner's ($10)
(H) While in heat, it is unconfined (confinement shall mean within an enclosed area, not accessible to any other dog) ($25)
II. Any person who fails by appropriate action including , but not limited to restraining an animal from running at large, muzzling such animal or otherwise effectively abating a nuisance found under the provision of this section or who fails to comply with any provision of the section after being so ordered , shall be fined not more than fifty dollars, ($50), the dog taken into custody by the police or constable of the town, and such disposition made of the dog as the court or town may order.
III. In addition, the board bill and fine must be paid at the Selectmen's Office before the dog will be released from the kennels, in the event the dog has been taken to Hussey's.
