The Town Building Inspector reviews building permit applications and the town engineer reviews septic systems applications before permits can be issued. Residential building permit applications, for one and two family homes, are reviewed for compliance with the Jackson Zoning Ordinance. Multi family housing (3 family or more) and all commercial building permit applications are reviewed for compliance with NFPA and ICC Codes as adopted by the State of New Hampshire. Septic system applications must be reviewed and found to be in compliance
with Jackson Zoning requirements before being sent to the State for a final approval.
