Join us for this exciting event at the Red Fox Bar & Grille. Participate in a traditional New England holiday activity - a Yankee Swap! This will be a fun-filled family event. Santa will be on hand to visit with the kids and oversee the entire event so parents will have to behave.
Tthe Swap is exciting and fun even if you are just a spectator and everyone has a chance to be a winner! If you've never been involved in an old-fashioned Yankee Swap, you should make plans to come to this one!
Plan on having dinner with your friends and family… make a night of it. The Red Fox Bar & Grille has put together a great menu of Yankee favorites such as Yankee Pot Roast and Stuffed Turkey Dinners all priced accordingly. Be sure to tell them you are part of the “Yankee Swap” group so you will be seated in the Iron Mountain Room.
Here is how it will work... Event tickets will be sold for $5 and will be available at the following area businesses: Jackson Chamber of Commerce office, Snowflake Inn, Christmas Farm Inn, Inn at Jackson, Notchland Inn and Buttonwood Inn.
The actual “Yankee Swap” will begin at 7 PM with the drawing of twenty tickets and those twenty ticket holders will advance on as participants in the “Yankee Swap” which is expected to continue to at least 8:30 PM. Each participant will be given a prize. Then the fun begins.
Family and friends can cheer you on as you try to hold on to your favorite prize or as you have to swap it over for something else… And… just when you and everyone else thinks you have the best prize and it is all yours… You might be persuaded to swap it for what is behind the curtain… or maybe for what might be behind the door… Come and find out.
Winners must attend the event… Winners are guaranteed to walk away with a gift valued at $100 or more. Some of the gifts include lodging packages, dining experiences, chiropractic services, and a great patio package. The top winner of the “Yankee Swap” will walk away with a prize or prizes valued at $1,000 or more.
