The mission of the club since 1917 has been to provide financial support and assistance to persons in the local community.
The club sponsors two very important events each year - the Annual Luncheon and the Annual Christmas Silver Tea. Both have become Jackson traditions and are important fundraisers and social events for the community.
All women of Jackson, Glen, & surrounding communities are invited to club workshops usually at the new Whitney Community Center. Sometimes jam making workshops are held in members homes.
The Jackson Sewing Club has a long and interesting history of service to the community. Click on Sewing Club History above for more history of past projects including sale of hundreds of colorful, handmade aprons.
