Join us for the 28th running of this USATF certified 10,000 meter course winding through Jackson Village and along the pastoral "Five Mile Circuit". This challenging run includes a mile-long uphill starting in the first mile, rising about 500 feet in elevation. During the race, you'll pass by nine of Jackson's bed and breakfasts, inns, and the only historic grand hotel in town. The final descent will bring you by the Jackson Falls of the Wildcat River with a turn in front of the white-steepled church to the finish line.
The course -- "New England's Toughest 10K" -- is certified by USA Track and Field and is electronically timed by Granite State Race Services. In 2000, the free Kids K attracted 100 kids who ran through a fun obstacle course and around the Jackson Ball Field. The 10K Footrace had a record turnout of over 200 adult runners and walkers. The race features cash and merchandise prizes, home baked sandwiches, ice cream, and a top quality 4-color beefy tee shirt for all preregistered runners.
Join us in making this traditional Jackson event a success.
