The Montessori philosophy
Allows for learning to be driven by the child's interest. Children must have freedom within limits, which can be achieved through order, respect, and self-discipline. Our objective is to match the children with activities which meet their developmental level and allow for a natural progression of growth. One goal is to assist children in acquiring social skills and self confidence to realize their potential and allow for a lifetime of creative learning.
A multi-age group of 3 - 6 year olds nurtures an atmosphere of cooperation and peer teaching. The older children gain a wonderful opportunity for leadership in this environment and the younger ones love it!

After an interview and upon acceptance into the program, a registration form and $50.00 non-refundable deposit will secure placement for your child. This fee is applied towards the purchase of materials and is separate from tuition. Enrollment for your child is considered provisional: If the staff feels the program is not in the best interest for your child or the class as a whole, we reserve the right to necessitate a change of placement. All students need to be independent in their toileting skills as we do not provide diapering.
All information received in forms and during conferences will be held in the strictest confidence by the staff. This information is required for state license procedures and helps in our ability to care for your children. Continuous communication between parents and staff is in the best interest of the children.
