Peaceful children, Peaceful World
Lilliputian Montessori School
The school is located on Main Street in picturesque Jackson Village. From Route 16, go through the covered bridge onto Rte 16A. We are approximately 1/2 mile on the left inside the Jackson Community Church Parish House. If you wish to visit, please call for an appointment -- 383-6783.
The Montessori philosophy
Allows for learning to be driven by the child's interest. Children must have freedom within limits, which can be achieved through order, respect, and self-discipline. Our objective is to match the children with activities which meet their developmental level and allow for a natural progression of growth. One goal is to assist children in acquiring social skills and self confidence to realize their potential and allow for a lifetime of creative learning.
Ages
A multi-age group of 3 - 6 year olds nurtures an atmosphere of cooperation and peer teaching. The older children gain a wonderful opportunity for leadership in this environment and the younger ones love it!

This fee is applied towards the purchase of materials and is separate from tuition. Enrollment for your child is considered provisional: If the staff feels the program is not in the best interest for your child or the class as a whole, we reserve the right to necessitate a change of placement. All students need to be independent in their toileting skills as we do not provide diapering.
All information received in forms and during conferences will be held in the strictest confidence by the staff. This information is required for state license procedures and helps in our ability to care for your children. Continuous communication between parents and staff is in the best interest of the children.
