Membership in the Jackson Historical Society is open to all, both residents and non-residents of Jackson. The Society usually meets on the first Thursday of the month at the barn at Christmas Farm Inn in the evening. In addition, the Society participates in a number of events throughout the year and holds exhibits at their new headquarters.
Our new home in Jackson is the old Town Hall, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Society has committed itself to restore and preserve this historic building as funds become available. We have established a building fund for this purpose and contributions are most appreciated. For more information about the Society, contact Warren Schomaker, Chairman, at (603) 383-4060 or visit the Historical Society's web site by clicking on the link below.
