WHY JOIN A GARDEN CLUB -  Because … it is a great place to get to meet and know others within the area who share your love of gardening and the environment.  We welcome members at every level of skill and knowledge and provide great opportunities to learn new things.  What you learn can benefit your home, community and your future.  We are even working on creating a new program to enable the children of our communities to join a “junior” club to learn about horticulture and preserve and protect the environment for future generations.

Come socialize, learn something new, contribute to your community and HAVE FUN!!

HISTORY - The Mountain Garden Club was established in 1973 and is a Federated member of the New Hampshire Federation of Garden Clubs – District 1, and of the National Garden Clubs, Inc. – New England Region.  The purpose of the club is to promote and nurture an interest in all phases of gardening and horticulture and to foster activities that benefit the communities of the area.  The programs presented at the monthly meeting provide educational opportunities for members on a varying number of subjects from a wide variety of experts in their respective fields.

MEETING SCHEDULE - Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month from September thru May ending with our annual meeting in June.   The meetings are usually held at Saint Margaret’s Church on Route 153 in Conway, NH unless stated otherwise.  The schedule is published regularly in the Community Calendar section of the Conway Daily Sun.  Guests and potential new member are always welcome to attend our meetings.
